Sharon
Winfield, President/CEO, founded HR Creations, LLC following a prestigious career of over 20 years in Corporate America. HR
Creations has a strong desire to assist small to medium size organizations with their everyday HR needs or any specialized
needs, focusing on areas such as training, career development, incentive programs, payroll, employee and/or employer relations,
recruiting, worker’s compensation and compensation and benefits. Throughout her extensive years in Human Resources,
Sharon found that many of the small to medium size businesses were required to follow federal and state mandated laws, yet
the business owners did not have the knowledge and/or resources to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. HR Creations
understands that one slip up in any of these areas and business owners could face major legal problems as well as dissatisfied
and angry employees.
Sharon spent over 20 years in Corporate America, in particular with Fortune 500 companies,
customarily at the “Senior Manager/Director” level. She holds a Bachelor’s of Administration in Human Resources
Management from Lindenwood University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Florissant
Valley Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) as well as the National Association for
African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR). She acquired her training certification through DDI institute in Chicago. In
2005, Sharon was considered in the 2005/2006 Manchester Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women “Honor’s
Edition”. Sharon also feels it is important to give back through charitable contributions. She volunteers at Girls Inc.
and she spends much of her time coaching college students on career development. Sharon is often times asked to contribute
her Human Resources expertise to the local newspapers such as the Small Business Journal on HR related issues facing America.
In 2007 Sharon was asked to speak at the 25th anniversary of the Working Women's Survivial Show and will again in 2008.
